Dr. Lincoln Forbes is a subject matter expert in the area of lean construction, lean consultant, author, adjunct professor and trainer. Dr. Forbes has over 30 years’ experience in facilities design, construction, and maintenance as well as quality/performance improvement. As Principal Consultant with Harding Associates Inc., of Miami, FL; he provides quality improvement solutions for the construction, service, and manufacturing industries. 

 

He is the Principal Consultant for both LeanConstructionLearning.com and its parent company Harding Associates Inc. He is a member of the Lean Construction Institute (LCI), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting knowledge and awareness of lean construction principles, and holds the CM-Lean designation with the AGC. Lincoln is a member of the International Group for Lean Construction (IGLC) and has served as both a presenter and a reviewer. His other professional memberships include the American Society for Quality (ASQ),  and the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, (IISE). He has been honored as a Fellow of IISE, and has served as past president and founder of their Construction Division.Lincoln is a Registered Professional Engineer and LEED® Accredited Profesional, with over 30 years’ experience in various aspects of facilities design, construction support, and quality/performance improvement. He has authored internationally recognized books on lean construction, as well as scholatly and practice-oriented papers. His most recent book is titled “Lean Project Delivery and Integrated Practices in Modern Construction” (Forbes and Ahmed, 2020, CRC Press/Routledge). The 2010 edition titled “Modern Construction: Lean Project Delivery and ” Practices” was one of the first published internationally and was translated to Mandarin.
